Now that the crazy summer is over and everyone is away at school, Lily and I have a lot of extra time on our hands. I decided to set up my backdrops last week and finally take her 3 year portraits. It was a nice change of pace and easier than dragging her out somewhere. I think she felt like a little model 'posing' for me. She hasn't posed on a backdrop since she was a baby, so it was a new experience for her. Here are a few of my favorites!

This weekend was crazy! Between rehearsals for my little ones' recital, prom for my oldest and then the recital itself I don't think my poor camera got a chance to rest all weekend! :) Not that it ever does.
here are the first few from the prom (since my daughter is anxious for me to get them done so she can put them on her facebook). All the girls looked so beautiful and they guys...well... Oh, just kidding, they looked very dashing in their tuxedos. :) We were hoping to go to our downtown area for some more 'urban' style pictures, but it was raining on and off all day so we opted for Suwanee Towne Center Park since it at least had some cover in case it downpoured. Of course, as we were driving there, the sun came out and it was hot and sunny the whole time. We still got some great shots though. :)
So today's my birthday and I thought I'd offer a special. Unfortunately, I've been so busy, I haven't had time to think one up. So, it'll have to wait...
in the meantime, here are a few of my favorites from a wonderful extended family session I did a few weeks ago. They were so much fun! :)
I've been so horribly bad at updating my blog lately! it's pitiful. I think mostly it's because I started doing my sneak peeks on my site instead of here. I've been getting some requests to put them here again, so I think I will do both. So, should I share a whole bunch of different sessions or just start from here? I'll show you a few of my recent favorites. I also have a few disks of my own pictures that still need uploading, so I'll share some of those in the days to come!
Life has been busy this spring. Pretty soon, the school year will be over (in less than a month!) and everyone will be home for summer break. YIKES! Can you believe my oldest is graduating high school this year?! She made her decision on a school for next year and we're so excited she'll be attending NYU! I'm not sure how I'll handle it, but I know she'll LOVE it. I'll go on more about her when I share some pics from honors night. :)
For now, here are a few from an awesome maternity session I did recently. Beautiful mom-to-be and such a nice couple. I love when a couple isn't afraid to be lovey in front of the camera! I can't wait until their little bundle arrives so I can do the newborn pictures!
I've been on a vintage/texture kick lately. I took miss M. out for a little urban kids session a few weeks ago (yes, I know, it's taking me forever to post...life is busy). Here are a few of my favorites from our morning out! We started out in downtown Buford, then went over to an old caboose in 'old towne' Suwanee. It was a bit chilly, but she's a real trooper and stuck it out with me! She's going to make a good little model one day! ;)

Ok, here's my picture for today. I didn't take it today, but I did 'find' it! I took these pictures back in September and never got around to doing anything with them. This often happens when I take pictures for myself. One of my resolutions for this year is to get better at editing and printing pictures of my own family. Here are a few I found today that are really cute!

December is such a crazy month. Didn't think I'd post at all, but I will put up this last sneak peek. I may put up one more, but it's not likely. The days need to be about 12 hours longer.
